How to install Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Hindi etc. languages on CentOS

Posted on 06 June 2017

Our Invoice Customizer Magento extension uses wkhtmltopdf library, so you can add any HTML or CSS code as you would like. This library works with any language (both latin and non-latin alphabets).
However, there may be such a situation that your operating system does not support necessary alphabets (e.g., Asian or Chinese). In this case it is required to install a language group on your server using 'Run yum install' command.

For OS Centos us the command:

yum groupinstall {LANGUAGE-support}

Use the language you need instead of 'LANGUAGE'.
For example:

yum install "@Arabic Support"
